Refund Policy
This policy sets out the returns policy for goods or services purchased through the online store operated by Four Seasons Products Limited.
Some types of goods are exempt from being returned for a refund where they are classed as perishable or been clearly classified as described below, or where they are hazardous materials or flammable liquids or gases.
All products on this website have a classification of product condition which is clearly shown on the Product Page and are subject to differing refund values, the definitions of these classifications can be found below. By ordering a product you agree you understand the condition of the product you are purchasing and agree to the terms of refund.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, if you change your mind about a purchase you have made within 14 working days after the date of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund of the original purchase price for the goods you wish to return, and the original postage and packaging charges made. You will not be entitled to a refund of the cost you incur in returning the item to us. To be eligible for a full refund, the item must be in the same condition as when you received it. This means it should be unused and in its original sealed packaging to which the product was sent.
If the item you purchased was faulty or did not work properly, or you think the item was not as described in the item description, please contact us first before requesting a refund as we may be able to resolve your problem to your satisfaction.
Where you would like to return a physical product you have purchased, please email us prior to shipping the product back for a RETURNS NUMBER. Any item retuned without a RETURNS NUMBER will not be processed.
Once your return is received and inspected we'll contact you to let you know whether your refund will be processed or not, and credit your original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. You will not be entitled to a refund of the cost you incur in returning the item to us
If you haven't received a refund where we have informed you we have issued one, please check your bank account or card statement to make sure it hasn't been received and then contact your bank as some banks or card companies take a number of days to credit your account.
If an item you purchased was purchased with a discount voucher, then we will only refund the amount that you paid (and not the amount the item was listed for).
If an item you purchased was in a sale then it may not be eligible for a refund if you have changed your mind. If you are in any doubt please contact us before making the purchase.
Definitions of product conditions
Shop soiled
“Shop soiled” is an adjective used to describe goods that have been placed on display or have become slightly dirty or marked as a result. These goods are sold at reduced prices because they cannot be sold as “in perfect condition”.
For example,
1. if a pair of trousers has been tried on by several customers or taken out of the original packaging and has some dirt marks, it might be considered shop soiled and sold at a discount.
2. a piece of hardware might have been placed on a metal display stand and scratched. These marks do not affect the performance of the product but considered as being shop soiled and sold at a discount.
Items sold and described as being “Shop Soiled” cannot be returned for full credit as it is accepted by purchasing the product that the product has been heavily discounted to take in to account the products condition. If you wish to return the product it will then incur a 50% re-stocking charge.
Non-Original Packaging
“Non-original packaging” is a term used to describe goods that are not in their original packaging. This can include items that have been repackaged by the manufacturer or seller, or items that have been returned by a customer and are being resold. Goods in non-original packaging are sold at a reduced price.
For example,
1. if you purchase a new item that has been returned by another customer, it may be sold in non-original packaging. This does not mean that the item is “Shop Soiled”, but it may have been opened and handled before.
Items sold and described as being in “Non-Original Packaging” can be returned for full credit so long as the seal or packaging has not been broken. If the seal or packaging has been broken we will implement a re-packaging / stocking surcharge of 50%.
New and Unused
“New and Unused” is a phrase used to describe goods that have never been used before and are in their original condition. These goods are often sold at full price and come with their original packaging and instructions.
For example,
- if you purchase a new pair of trousers, they will be in their original packaging with all tags attached. This means that the trousers are new and unused.
Please note’ returns are accepted on these items as long as they are unused and in perfect condition with their original packaging undamaged, if the seal or packaging has been broken, we will implement a re-packaging / stocking surcharge of 50%.
Damaged Packaging
“Damaged packaging” is a term used to describe goods that have been affected by external factors such as handling, transportation, or storage. The products outer packaging may have scratches, dents, or other cosmetic damages, but the product inside is new and unused.
For example,
1. if you purchase a product described as being supplied in damaged packaging it means the product inside the bag or box will be in a new and unused condition, but the outer packaging itself may have some cosmetic damages.
Please note’ returns are accepted on these items as long as they are unused and in perfect condition with their original packaging, if the packaging has been damaged and is unusable we will implement a re-packaging / stocking surcharge of 50%.
Discontinued Product
A “discontinued product” is a product that is no longer being produced or offered for general sale. This can happen for various reasons, such as low demand, high production costs, or the introduction of a newer version of the product. When a product is discontinued, it can still be made available for purchase until the existing stock runs out.
It’s important to note that a discontinued product is not a defective nor a damaged product. It simply means that the manufacturer has decided to stop producing or offering it for sale. These goods are sold at reduced prices to clear stock. Items sold and described as being “Discontinued” cannot be returned for full credit as it is accepted by purchasing the product that the product has been heavily discounted to take in to account the products status. If you wish to return the product it will then incur a 50% re-stocking charge.
Lot / Bundle
Products sold as a “Lot” or "Bundle" describe a group of items that are sold together as a single unit. These lots will contain various products which are classed as being either:
- Shop soiled
- Non-Original Packaging
- New and unused
- Damaged Packaging
- Discontinued Product
Items purchased as a “lot” or "Bundle" cannot be returned for full credit as it is accepted by purchasing the lot that the products contained in the lot have been heavily discounted to take in to account the products condition. If you wish to return the purchase it will then incur a 50% re-stocking charge.
Ex-Demonstration
An ex-demonstration product is a product that has been used for demonstration purposes, such as in a showroom, a trade show, or a store. Ex-demonstration products are sold at reduced prices, as they may have some signs of wear and tear, or may not come with the original packaging or accessories. However, ex-demonstration products are still fully functional.
Items sold and described as being “Ex-Demonstration” cannot be returned for full credit as it is accepted by purchasing the product that the product has been heavily discounted to take in to account the products status. If the seal or packaging has been broken we will implement a re-packaging / stocking surcharge of 50%.
