  • Product Description

Ridgegear RGH5 Confined Space Access Saftey Harness

Designed for fall arrest and confined space rescue applications. The front and rear attachment points can be used as standard fall arrest points and the rescue strap can be used for lifting and lowering.

When used, the rescue strap keeps the operative in a near vertical position, which is preferred when recovering an unconscious casualty.

This harness is used throughout the industry in conjunction with a tripod (RGR1) and a winch unit to access confined spaces, vertical shafts, sewers and silos. As with all of the Ridgegear harnesses, the RGH5 is suitable for use with fall arrest/recovery blocks.

This harness is fully adjustable and is fitted with rip stitch indicators.

    Rip Stitch Indicator

This simple but effective indicator, showing if the harness has been used within a fall. If an operative uses this harness at height, and unfortunately falls, the force can affect the mechanics of the harness. The rip stitch indicator detaches and shows if the harness has been damaged.

  • Product Condition - Please Read Carefully

“New and Unused” is a phrase used to describe goods that have never been used before and are in their original condition. These goods are often sold at full price and come with their original packaging and instructions.

    For example,

    1.    if you purchase a new pair of trousers, they will be in their original packaging with all tags attached. This means that the trousers are new and unused.

    Discontinued Product (E)

A “discontinued product” is a product that is no longer being produced or offered for general sale. This can happen for various reasons, such as low demand, high production costs, or the introduction of a newer version of the product. When a product is discontinued, it can still be made available for purchase until the existing stock runs out.

It’s important to note that a discontinued product is not a defective nor a damaged product. It simply means that the manufacturer has decided to stop producing or offering it for sale. These goods are sold at reduced prices to clear stock. Items sold and described as being “Discontinued” cannot be returned for full credit as it is accepted by purchasing the product that the product has been heavily discounted to take in to account the products status

    Damaged Packaging (D)

“Damaged packaging” is a term used to describe goods that have been affected by external factors such as handling, transportation, or storage. The products outer packaging may have scratches, dents, or other cosmetic damages, but the product inside is new and unused.

    For example,

    1.    if you purchase a product described as being supplied in damaged packaging it means the product inside the bag or box will be in a new and unused condition, but the outer packaging itself may have some cosmetic damages.
